The finest cuisine

You can look forward to the highest quality cuisine on our ship, as our accomplished chefs work hard to prepare and create imaginative menus using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Whenever the ship is in port, and where possible, our chefs source local produce to prepare later that day. This means you can enjoy dishes which truly reflect the cuisine of the area you are visiting.

With no fixed seating plans and meals all served at one leisurely sitting, you can relax as you would in your favourite restaurant and unwind with new–found friends, or dine on your own if you prefer. You can choose to enjoy all your meals in either the main Dining Room or the less formal Verandah restaurant.

From hearty breakfasts and five–course dinners to leisurely afternoon teas and indulgent late–night buffets, you’ll find dining one of the highlights of your cruise. In most cases, guests with special dietary requirements can be catered for – please advise us at the time of booking.

The Dining Room – for waiter–served meals

In the Dining Room you can enjoy waiter served meals, including breakfasts. There is an open seating policy and the Maitre d’ will allocate you a seat on arrival. Dinner is served at one leisurely sitting so you can choose to dine any time between 7pm and 9pm, and you’ll never be rushed to finish your meal.

A more informal alternative

A more informal alternative to the main Dining Room is the Verandah, which has a relaxed atmosphere with open seating and buffet–style meals. The restaurant has access to the deck, so that you can enjoy dining indoors or alfresco in fine weather.

If you cruise to warmer climes, you can look forward to regular barbecues out on deck, where you’ll often be able to try some locally–caught fish or a regional speciality.

Fine wines

You can choose from an extensive collection of wines and will always find the perfect complement to your lunchtime or evening meal. We source both fine vintages and new, more unusual wines from around the world.

Evening attire

In the more informal Verandah restaurant the dress code is casual – we suggest an open–neck shirt and trousers for men, skirts or trousers and casual tops for ladies.

In the Dining Room, the dress code is casual on most evenings, but there will be the occasional formal night (approximately three on a 14–night cruise). On such evenings, gentlemen may wear a lounge suit or a dinner jacket if they prefer, whilst ladies are asked to wear a dress or evening trousers and smart top.
