Could you be Holiday Photographer of the Year 2008? Enter this unique online competition and you could win a fabulous Journey into Antarctica cruise to see majestic icebergs, humpback whales, fur seals and all manner of different penguin species.

Spirit of Adventure goes beyond the tourist trail to visit extraordinary destinations. Her cruises are designed to take you off the beaten track to some of the smaller ports of call that other cruise ships cannot reach. An excursion or expedition is included at every port and on-board lecturers add an extra dimension to your experience. You can even use the computer facilities onboard to download and organise your digital photographs.

The Prizes

First prize:
The overall winning photographer, plus partner, will fly from London to Buenos Aires next February to board Spirit of Adventure bound for Antarctica. During the Journey into Antarctica cruise you’ll enjoy the unique opportunity to photograph this unspoilt wilderness and its incredible wildlife.

Category prizes:
Each adult category prize winner will receive a Spirit of Adventure Canary Islands Contrasts cruise for two. Young winners (under 21) will receive hands-on photography tuition days in the UK with pro-wildlife photographer Chris Weston.

Winning pictures, and some of the best shortlisted images, will also be selected for publication in a specially commissioned glossy book produced by AA Publishing.
