Flight information and upgrades
Your airline
For most cruises featured on this website, flights will be operated by scheduled airlines such as British Airways, Malaysian Airlines, Air new Zealand, Qantas Airways, TAP Air Portugal, Sri Lanka Airlines, Air Malta, South African Airways, Air Mauritius, Kenya Airways, Turkish Airlines and Emirates.
Selected destinations will be operated by a dedicated charter service. For charter flights we only use reputable airlines such as Thomsonfly or British Airways using Boeing 737, 757, 767, or Airbus A300, A319, A320 A321 or A330 aircraft.
All flights are non-smoking and in general, scheduled airlines offer a minimum of 30” seat pitch on European flights and 31” Long haul services.
Upgrade options
On scheduled flights, and subject to availability, you may choose to upgrade your flight for a supplement.
On short haul scheduled services, we offer business class upgrades such as British Airways’ Club Europe with which you enjoy extra legroom, fast track security channels, British Airways lounge at London Heathrow or London Gatwick (and selected overseas airports) and enhanced baggage allowance.
On long haul services we can offer a choice of upgrade options including British Airways World Traveller Plus with benefits including a wider seat and private, enclosed cabin. Long haul Business Class upgrades such as British Airways Club World, which offers a lie flat bed with Business Class Lounges, enhanced baggage allowance and superior in-flight dining.
With many flight upgrades the supplement payable is often cheaper the earlier they are booked.
Luggage
In general, your maximum flight luggage allowance is 20kg (44lbs) per person. However, luggage allowance does vary by airline and your flight destination, our experienced Travel Consultants will be able to advise you on the allowances at the time of booking.
