Announcing our new ship Quest for Adventure

Since Spirit of Adventure was launched two years ago, thousands of intrepid passengers have been enjoying a new type of cruising holiday based around exploration and discovery.

Based on her success, a new cruise ship has been added to the fleet, Quest for Adventure, which will offer the same discovery-style cruising which has made Spirit of Adventure so popular and will help to offer an even greater choice of itineraries from 2009 onwards.

Quest for Adventure will embark on her inaugural voyage next summer after an extensive multi–million pound refurbishment. She will sail first to the Baltic and go on to explore the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Middle East and Asia. Among her more unusual itineraries will be a journey to Vietnam and a voyage around Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Spirit of Adventure will sail west to Latin America and Antarctica, then home via North Africa and Ireland. Just a few of the highlights of her 2009 calendar include a cruise into the Amazon and a journey through the Bosphorus Straits to the Black Sea.

Spirit of Adventure discovery cruising holidays provide a unique type of cruise that is enriched by guest lecturers. They include fascinating included excursions that truly complement the fascinating destinations you sail to, and thanks to the ships' smaller proportions, they are able to offer exciting itineraries that venture into shallower waters and smaller ports, places that larger cruise ships are simply unable to reach.
